When you think about OSHA, what comes to mind? Is it primarily the Bloodborne Pathogens
Standard? But did you know that OSHA has many more regulations that apply to a dental practice?
Most dental professionals equate OSHA with annual training and having a manual on the office shelf.
However, the OSHA requirements are much more comprehensive. This interactive session discusses
common pitfalls and overlooked requirements of four OSHA Standards applicable to dental practices:
the Bloodborne Pathogens Standard, Hazard Communication Standard, Fire Safety, and Exit Routes.
Examples of OSHA citations in dentistry will also be discussed. Employers and employees alike have
an obligation to follow OSHA regulations as well as office policies. Don’t miss this engaging and
enlightening session.
