Abstract

Because of the influx of new bulk fill materials there are lots of questions and concerns over their utilization and longevity to withstand occlusal forces and microleakage. Light penetration for polymerization as well as shrinkage stresses will be covered in addition to material interaction with bonding agents. A brief discussion on how to create consistently tight contacts will also be presented.
