Capturing the Beauty of Ceramic Layering (Laboratory Course)

In this course, Mitch Hurst, CDT, will cover the ceramic system, from the new lithium disilicate ingots, to layering and finishing on the final shape, contour, and glaze with ceramic porcelain. Two anterior restorations will be layered and finished. No prerequisites are required for this course.

Mitch Hurst, CDT
Mitch Hurst, CDT was exposed to the world of dentistry at an early age, growing up in a family of Dentists and Lab Technicians. Through their mentoring, Mitch developed a broad and deep appreciation of not only the intricacies and nuances of the Ceramists profession, but also and understanding of the Dentist's perspective and their patients' needs. It is this approach that has defined Mitch as a professional. He began his dental career working in his father's lab. In 2006, Mitch became a Certified Dental Technician, specializing in Ceramics. After being involved in all aspects of Dental Restorations, he discovered that he enjoys and excels in the challenges of large, complex reconstructive cases. In 2007, Mitch owned and operated his own laboratory, Mitch Hurst Dental Studio, in Boise, ID. He attends and accelerated level of industry seminars and courses, demonstrating his commitment to new and upcoming techniques and materials.
This course is offered for 7 CDT CEU. GC America Inc. is approved for awarding AGD PACE and NBC continuing education credits.
